One of canvas photo printing's main benefits is that the rough surface allows you to print pictures at a size that normal photo paper would not allow because of low quality. The low quality is hidden by the rough surface of the canvas, making it ideal for printing old photos, or low quality photos that cannot be printed with normal printing methods.

We finish each canvas photo print with a UV protective coating that doubles as a water resilient surface. Many printers offer lower price canvas prints but skip this important step.

When ordering, all you need to do is to work out the size of canvas print you wish to have and email us your order with your photos attached.

When we receive your order, your photo will be printed directly onto printable artist grade canvas. We use a high quality 100% cotton artist grade canvas. Combined with the Roland eco-solvent inks, your prints are guaranteed to remain crisp and vibrant for years.

Each print is measured and then carefully hand stretched over wooden stretcher bars made from quality pine. The frames are 20mm thick though we can provide thicker frames on request. We also provide strap hanger fittings so that your print is ready to hang the day you receive it.

Almost all art and pictures are suitable for printing on canvas, whether it is an old photo converted to retro art, or a special moment that you want to grace your home with in a format a little different than a traditional photograph.

The canvas is then stretched over a pre-fabricated wooden frame with extra bracing and special corner strengthening to give the frame extra rigidity and prevent it from warping, especially larger prints that are susceptible to warping in humid and coastal climates.

Stretched canvas prints come in a wide range of sizes, shapes, patterns, pics and finishing options so you can be assured of the best quality and value for money. An additional option is having white sides, black sides or the image can be wrapped over the edges of the frame.

Often difficult to tell apart from the original, printed canvas looks and feels like a real painting. Only proper artist canvas material is used to ensure quality printing.

Cotton or linen is usually used to make modern canvas, along with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), although hemp was historically used for making canvas to paint on. When weaving canvas, plain weave rather than twill weave is used, making it different from other heavy cotton fabrics. Canvas comes in two basic types: plain and duck. The threads in duck canvas are more tightly woven. The word duck comes from the Dutch word doek for cloth.
