About Print n Sign

by Robbie, a loyal client since day one.

Print n Sign is an online print and signage business in South Africa. They do digital and litho printing and digital and cut vinyl signage.

They are also print brokers for a number of products and can therefore supply at very competitive prices.

They started the business as a hobby in 1992 and were one of the first businesses in town to buy an HP 500C Colour Printer and Corel Draw 2.

After learning to do the basic graphic designs and printing it they started marketing everything they could print on the printer; business cards (on thin, ink absorbable card!), letterheads, compliment slips, brochures, flyers etc. Anything in full colour and small quantities which they knew a litho machine could not match in price. There weren't even colour copiers at that stage.

They called themselves Mini Print.

This went on until the end of 1998, when Tom decided to quit working for a boss and went into the print and design business full time.

It was around about this time they adopted the name of Print n Sign.

Beginning 2007 they decided to grow their signage business and purchased their first large format digital printer and cutter. Although start up costs were high, the business is growing steadily and they are proud to be able to deliver an outstanding service to all their existing and future clients.
