About Print n Sign

Print n Sign is an online print and signage business in South Africa. They do digital and litho printing and digital and cut vinyl signage.

They are also print brokers for a number of products and can therefore supply at very competitive prices.

They started the business as a hobby in 1992 and were one of the first businesses in town to buy an HP 500C Colour Printer and Corel Draw 2.

After mastering the basics of graphic design and printing, they began to sell a variety of printed items. They offered business cards made from thin, ink-absorbing card stock, letterheads, compliment slips, brochures, flyers, and more. They focused on creating colorful prints in small quantities, knowing that litho printing would be too expensive for such orders. At that time, there were no colour copiers available.

They called themselves Mini Print.

This went on until the end of 1998, when Tom decided to quit working for a boss and went into the print and design business full time.

It was around about this time they adopted the name of Print n Sign.

In 2007, they made the decision to expand their signage business by buying their first large-format digital printer and cutter. Although the initial costs were high, the business has been growing steadily. They take pride in providing excellent service to both their current and future clients.
